Liquidation Price Calculator: How Not to Get Liquidated

Liquidation ends the trade and can wipe your margin. Use this tool to see how much room you have before that happens — then choose lower leverage, a wider stop, or more margin. Toggle LeverUp vs generic exchange rules and enter your own entry price.

How to avoid liquidation

Formulas

Generic (MMR): Long liq = E × (1 − 1/L + mmr). Short liq = E × (1 + 1/L − mmr). Auto mmr = min(0.5%, 0.5/L).

LeverUp: Long liq = E × (1 − liqLoss/L); short liq = E × (1 + liqLoss/L). liqLoss = 0.85 (≤100x) or 0.80 (>100x, e.g. 1001x BTC/ETH).
